Chris and Kristin Deckert work with the The JESUS Film Project, a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. Chris is the Team Leader of the Script Translation Strategies and Language Research Department. He coordinates a new initiative to translate The JESUS Film into 865 unreached languages. In this role, he leads a team that researches and prioritizes languages for translation while meeting with Bible translation agencies to facilitate the translation of the Gospel of Luke.
Please pray for:
- the family’s mission trip to work with the Muslims in south France in early June—that they rely on God and trust Him for all they need.
- the four people from the team who are out raising support . They are vital to the setup and running of the translation workshop.
- the wrap-up of our translation workshop in Burkina Faso for 9 languages.
- preparation as the team gets ready for a translation workshop for 6 languages in Tanzania.
