Ethnos 360 – Papua New Guinea
MARK leaves for Papua New Guinea on January 9 and will be there working for a month. He plans to get the village school up and running for the new year. This will include interviewing and hiring a few teachers in town and encouraging the current teaching staff. He will also teach Romans to the staff so that they can, in turn, teach the book to the 260+ school students over the school year. Then he will gather supplies and fly into Mariama with the eight teachers, helping the new school year to get off to a solid start. He will also have time to disciple and encourage the tribal church leaders in Mariama and Aganamai. While In PNG, Mark will also buy supplies for a small house we hope to build in Mariama at some point in the coming year. It is a long to-do list in the time he has, but we trust the Lord’s guidance and know that what He wants to happen is what will come to pass.
