Casey and Matt Friedberg
Water of Life — Cambodia
The Friedberg family has served in Cambodia since 2008. They desire to see Jesus Christ free those who are held captive by the fear of folk Buddhism and ancestor worship. Cambodia suffered a horrible civil war and genocide at the hands of the Khmer Rouge from 1975-79, and though 40 years have passed, those horrors continue to affect all society. Matt has been involved with discipleship among the urban poor, and he currently oversees the Shelter of Peace ministry, which consists of student dorms and an outreach center. Casey also has helped run a clinic for sex-trafficked women, looking out for their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.
Please pray for:
- our daughters Micah and Jordan, for their relationship with God as they formulate their adult lives. Micah is in her third year of college in Virginia and Jordan is part of a gap-year program in Texas.
- us as we are currently needingĀ wisdom and direction with decisions that we will need to make for our future.
- more faith, trust, and grace for us as this season of our family being apart is much more difficult than we thought it would be.
- God to use our various outreach ministries to touch and change local lives with the gospel.
