Chad and Janeene Mankins
ETHNOS 360 – PAPUA NEW GUINEA
The Mankins arrived in PNG in 2001 and settled into a remote, helicopter only location in the Madang Province. They are presently based in Texas, but Chad makes regular trips to the village to translate the New Testament for the Tobo believers…
Speaking of those trips to PNG, the pandemic-related travel restrictions have meant that Chad missed yet another one that would’ve transpired last month. He’s been plugging away in the office in an effort to get more scriptures and lessons ready to eventually provide to the Tobo church for their growth and benefit, as God continues to transform them into a beautiful and ever-maturing body. The tentative plan is to try for a trip in February, should conditions permit. “We’ll trust God with the timing in all that, even as we forge ahead in the areas of ministry that God has so greatly blessed us with the privilege of undertaking and accomplishing.”
Please pray that Chad can gain entry to PNG, and that his time with the growing Tobo church and leaders would be blessed. And pray he can continue to make progress with his early drafts, to be checked by his team in February.
