The Centers form a unique international network of evangelical cult research and education agencies. Its main goal is to equip Christians in the developing world and post-communist nations for discernment, defense of the faith, and cult evangelism. While many ministries seek to fulfill this biblical mandate in North America, there are next to none in the regions CFAR serves. Their present focus is to establish a counter-cult training base in cooperation with Central African Baptist College that will influence Zambia, Malawi, Congo, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia.
Please pray for:
- finances, wisdom, and unity as the CFAR International Directors meet for their annual Summit in Budapest, Hungary from May 12-18.
- wisdom for leaders in Africa and Latin America as they continue to train pastors and university students to stand for Christ in the midst of imported and local cults and false teachings.
Praise God for:
- the incredible response to CFAR’s gospel-centered, Scripture-saturated apologetics seminars held in Zambia, Uganda and the D.R. of Congo during March. Hundreds received apologetics resources and Pastors are already asking for local conferences to help church members battle the rampant influence of cults in Africa.
