Chad and Janeene Mankins

ETHNOS 360 – PAPUA NEW GUINEA

The Mankins helped plant a church among the Tobo people group in PNG and are now in the process of translating the New Testament into the Tobo language. Because of local opposition and the remoteness of the people group, they had been working on the project from mission headquarters in Goroka. However, medical issues have led them to return to the US where they are seeking treatment, with Chad making trips back to PNG to continue the translation on an itinerant basis.

PLEASE PRAY…

  • Janeene’s father Wayne. Following a serious fall on New Year’s Day, he underwent major neck surgery. Pray for a full and quick recovery.
  • their family dynamics as Janeene will be caring for her father and Chad will be focusing more on their four sons.
  • Chad as he ‘downloads’ translation from his last trip to PNG this Fall and prepares for his next trip to PNG, yet unplanned.
