Chad and Janeene Mankins

ETHNOS 360 – PAPUA NEW GUINEA

The Mankins helped plant a church among the Tobo people group in PNG and are now in the process of translating the New Testament into the Tobo language. Because of local opposition and the remoteness of the people group, they had been working on the project from mission headquarters in Goroka. However, medical issues have led them to return to the US where they are seeking treatment, with Chad making trips back to PNG to continue the translation on an itinerant basis.

PLEASE PRAY FOR…

  • Chad as he downloads translation from his last trip to PNG this Summer, and prepares for his next trip to PNG later this year.
  • the opening of the local airstrip that would allow for more regular access and convenience as the cost of the helicopter is high and its payload is greatly limited.
  • the three older boys as they head into their second year of schooling in the USA.
