Dave and Tomo Robison serve with the Japanese Evangelical Missionary Society in the Japanese prefecture of Iwate. They are serving at Morioka Bible Baptist Church (MBBC) in North Eastern Japan in an area that was devastated by the 2011 Earthquake and Tsunami. For the past 5 years, they have been helping and reaching out to the survivors with hope and the love of Christ. Over the last year, Dave headed up a monthly English outreach and was able to give 6 sermons in Japanese at various churches.
Tomo stays busy with two kids and is pregnant with their third child! She heads up the evangelism committee at church, plays piano during Sunday worship and started an outreach to young
mothers.
PLEASE PRAY FOR…
• the Ofunato Bible Baptist Church (severely damaged in the Tsunami) to grow into one of those vibrant churches that reflects Christ’s love to those around it.
• the beginning of a new phase of ministry on the coast to strengthen and plant churches in cities effected by the Tsunami.
• our church as we reach out to the survivors by sending teams to encourage and talk with them. For many, this is their first and only interaction with Christians.
