Itinerant to Sensitive Area
Having spent several years as linguistics/translation trainers and administrators in Asia, this couple returned to the USA to train translators for the task around the world. “Ken” is presently involved in teaching summer linguistics courses to Bible translators while “Mary” has been providing spiritual counseling to students.
On August 1 “Ken” became Director of our (sensitive) field organization. These are challenging times for our coworkers, with restrictions on travel worldwide, in addition to tightening regulations in our country of service. His many years of service in our group’s admin team have prepared him well for this role, but there is still a lot to learn as he takes on increased responsibilities.
Please pray for him as he meets with the various members of the leadership team (Mary is one of them), learns more about the current situation of our organization, and begins to develop his vision for leading our wonderful coworkers for the next few years.
