Upon graduation from Westminster Seminary in Escondido, Kennedy moved to Malawi where he trained pastors with the Church in Central Africa. A year later, he accepted an invitation to join CFAR team in Uganda as part of its effort to equip Christians in the developing world and post-communist nations for discernment, defense of the faith, and cult evangelism. He now moves on to Kitwe, Zambia, where he will establish a new apologetics ministry under CFAR.

- that Kennedy would quickly be able to find a bible teaching church where he may become a member and actively serve.
- that the Lord would provide more resources while in Zambia.
- that the Lord will open doors for Kennedy to serve many local churches, and they find a welcoming chaplain at the university where he will be teaching.
