Mark and Holly Woodard

Papua New Guinea Itinerant – Ethnos 360

After spending over a decade church planting among the Bagwido people group in the Sepik Basin of PNG, the Woodards relocated to the Highlands of PNG where they filled many roles in leadership and church planting consultation. They recently returned home to be with Mark’s seriously ill father. While in the US, they will mobilize US students as leaders of E360’s on-field training INTERFACE program. Mark will continue to make trips to PNG to disciple the young Bagwido church and consult in the area of church planting.

Please pray:

  • for the new educational outreach program in this remote area. Two PNG teachers have committed to teach the 80+ children of the Bagwido villages, which will be a tremendous blessing to the parents and an investment in the future of the church. Pray the startup remains a stable part of the community for years to come.
  • that the church leaders who attended a recent conference aimed at reaching teens will take their enthusiasm and commitment back to their respective churches, and that the churches will focus on bringing the next generation to Christ.
  • for the logistical details and finances as the Woodards plan to be back in PNG from May to August 2019.
  • for Mark’s father as he continues to battle cancer—for grace and peace for him and the entire family.
