Matt and Casey Friedberg

Water of Life – Cambodia

The Friedberg family has served in Cambodia since 2008 and are now transitioning out of ministry back into life in Orange County. Matt discipled the urban poor and was overseer of Shelter of Peace ministry, a student dorm and an outreach center. Casey helped run a clinic for sex-trafficked women, looking out for their physical, spiritual and emotional needs. As they moved back to the US to transition into life here, they have been faced with their daughter Jordan’s very serious health issues. Her recent blood work along with a CT scan show that she has an infection in her lymph nodes and throughout her chest that could be a result of lymphoma.

Please pray for Jordan:

  • that the most recent biopsy results will rule out lymphoma and that it is just some kind of weird and treatable infection.
  • wisdom to know where to treat her as her healthcare will not go into effect in California until July 1.
  • that if she ends up receiving treatment in Texas that all medical costs will be covered under her emergent care plan in that state.
  • for the peace of God to reign in all their hearts during these days and that His wise path will be clear to them as they move forward.
