Tim and Krista Hahne
Church Planting in Valcea, Romania
Over the past two decades, the Hahnes have faithfully served as church planters in a difficult area of Romania. They have seen a small church come into existence, and they have served a very poor community in a number of physical ways. However, after years of discipleship, local leaders still have not come forward. After much prayer, the Hahnes have decided to disband the church and focus on an evangelistic ministry in the area. They are now serving alongside Romanian pastors in another church, still faithfully reaching out in this spiritually dark city with the light of the Gospel.
Please pray for:
- perseverance, strength and wisdom for Tim as he evangelizes the youth of the community and has faced much rejection. Pray for the Lord to show Tim positive fruit from his tireless efforts to reach these youth.
- strength and wisdom for Krista as she prepares and leads a women’s study of the Gospel of John at church.
- a young Gypsy woman, Casi, who is suffering from a difficult pregnancy; that she will not abort the child but will have the strength to carry through a healthy birth, affirming God’s love for her.
- family at home in California. Son Seth is facing a couple of surgeries and does not respond well to recovery; son Joey and family have had a difficult year and now have the flu that is rampant in our area.
