Boniface & Sarah Toulassi – Bridge to Nations
Thanks to anyone who has and is praying for Boniface. He is safe and well. He had a very productive time last week in Benin visiting five Christ is the Same Churches who are around 4-5 years old. He and Pastor Augustine had significant leadership discussions, counseling and prayer with all the pastors and church leaders during the week. They showed the Jesus Film once and shared the gospel with around 150 women in one of the villages that is still a voodoo stronghold. We thank God for these opportunities. I’ve attached just a couple of photos of these events.
This week he is teaching around 20 Baptist pastors at the seminary in Lome. This is an intensive one-week course so there are only two days left.
On Sunday, June 27, he will meet with some of the 230 members of the HistoAfrique group that he’s been teaching throughout COVID using the social media platform WhatsApp. Some of them have been begging for a face to face meeting and he would love to meet, interact, and answer questions. Not sure if this is an actual seminar so for now I’m calling it a gathering.
Next week he will conduct a training course for the chiefs in his home region. The district officer granted permission on Monday and it is the mayor of Attitogon who is organizing the training. This is an answer to prayer. Pray for God to prepare the hearts of the chiefs for both new leadership ideas and to be open to the gospel which Boniface will share during the course of the training.
