CRU – The Jesus Film

The Deckerts were long-time members of PCC before ministry with CRU led them to move to Orlando. Chris heads up the translation projects for the JESUS Film, and in this role helps coordinate consultants and translators in an effort to produce high-quality translations of the film into majority and minority languages around the world. He recently wrote:
We want to give you a BIG Thank You for your partnership over the past year. The continued COVID crisis and difficulties with international travel and projects have been draining for many of us. We want to thank you for your generosity and prayers that have supported us in spreading the Gospel.
We are excited about what 2022 holds. Even with Omicron, we have seen one of our highest ever months for JESUS Film production in December with 13 Mission 865 JESUS Films completed. That’s 24 completed since October. Truly extraordinary. We have our recording teams ready to fly anywhere in the world. Still, the uncertainties of travel have given their emotions a rollercoaster as recording trips are scheduled and then cancelled. Thankfully, the translation of the JESUS Film scripts continues through international zoom calls. PLEASE PRAY for international travel to open up fully.
Chris has spent the last few weeks with his new leadership team for Language Strategies. Please pray for him as they set up strategy and planning meetings over the next weeks to coordinate translation and recording projects for the next year.
