Alive to Serve– Kenya
Last week we introduced Peter and Lydia as latest additions to our global outreach team. Trained as a pharmaceutical technician, Peter entered mission training in 2005, began full-time ministry in 2006, married Lydia in 2007, and together they are blessed with three children. Peter is Director of Alive to Serve, which we also introduced last week, and he also oversees four village churches from different people groups as an ordained Reverend with Glory Outreach Assembly.
He passed on these requests to us today:
Regarding ministry-related needs, please pray…
- …for God’s provision of resources for people facing persecution right now. More than 15 families have lost their dear ones and their properties as a result of attacks by Ashabab terrorists. We do our utmost to support their survivors with food and school fees through our general budget.
- …that the Lord will heal their trauma and provide their spiritual and physical needs.
- …that these dear ones will turn to God in their hour of need instead of turning away from Him.
For our family, please pray…
* …for Divine provision of the needs we face. We need to get our kids into good schools to ensure they have a solid educational foundation. This will require funds beyond our present budget.
* …for my wife, Lydia, who has been facing health challenges due to back issues.
