CRU – The Jesus Film

The Deckerts were long-time members of PCC before ministry with CRU led them to move to Orlando. Chris heads up the translation projects for the JESUS Film, and in this role helps coordinate consultants and translators in an effort to produce high-quality translations of the film into majority and minority languages around the world. Chris recently wrote:
I will be heading to the Middle East on April 10 to ensure the plans to translate and record our 2000th language of the Jesus Film. This is truly and exciting milestone. I can’t wait to share with you more but need to be a bit secure due to the location of this language. There are over 500,000 speakers of this language.
Please pray for my trip and the favor of God as we meet with local believers in a remote area of this country. We believe that the JESUS Film in the heart language of this people will open many doors for advancement of the Gospel and Transformed lives. Pray for God to provide just the right people in production of the JESUS Film. Pray for Kristin’s wisdom and direction as she transitions to an empty nester and new role in the Jesus Film. Pray for their abiding in Christ and protection as they seek to love and serve Christ.
