As for our ministry since COVID-19 broke out it has been going very well in spite of the lockdown and restrictions. We have an average of 30-40 phone calls with men from around the world every month. I am currently mentoring 15 men (via Zoom and phone calls) in North America, South America, Asia and Europe. The age range is anywhere from 20/21-65+ years old. These accountability and mentoring phones calls encompass both the Pathway to Purity and Real Men Pursuing Purity initiatives of The MST Project. Real Men Pursuing Purity weekly groups and Pathway to Purity sessions remain the same as before the outbreak. The only difference is all meetings and sessions take place via Zoom.
As for our street outreach, yes, we have not been able to go out and minister since March because of the pandemic. However, with restrictions loosening we are taking a ‘wait and see’ approach for starting back up again. However, I have been able to maintain consistent contact with four men from the street. This contact is primarily through phone calls but also email and text messages.
So the street ministry is hampered during these days, but then so is the trade of women, at least temporarily. Thankfully Christian is able to follow up with men who have decided to take different paths, both here and now and for eternity. Pray these men would continue to seek God as the One who meets every need of their heart.
