Dan and Betty Anderson
Union Rescue Mission/Deed and Truth
Pastor Dan serves as Staff Pastor to URM’s 175 employees, and as its Director of Church Relations. He has also started a non-profit organization to fill the gaps in services being rendered to the homeless and the poor in an effort to help them in the name of Jesus. Until recently, Betty has served as PCC’s Director of Children’s Ministry, and she now partners with Pastor Dan in the running of the non-profit, Deed and Truth.
Please pray for:
– balance in ministry and family life as Dan lives at the Mission for much of the week
– Betty’s new ministries she is starting for the women at URM
– churches to catch the vision of ongoing relational ministry that transforms the hearts of the homeless and of the URM volunteers
– the URM staff to stay energized in the midst of such a difficult work environment on skid row
– Pastor Dan’s personal time with Jesus to be intimate and life-giving
