PCC has had a 20-year relationship with the outreach to the village of Vlocisht. After several years without direct involvement, PCC’s High School ministry revived our relationship with a trip there during the summer of 2019. When first visited the village had no male believers, yet today the growing church is led by faithful men who serve as elders. We recently received this from the team that has faithfully discipled its leaders…
“As a team, we are working in four Islamic villages outside of the city of Korca, Albania. We have been using Community Health Evangelism as our ministry approach since 1999. We have a church plant in three of the villages where we are serving. Praise God with us for the successful completion of Vacation Bible Schools in Vashtemi, Posceste and Vlocisht. Thank the Lord for the safe return journey for our partner, Shelly, who returned time to help with the VBS programs.
Please pray for the continued growth in the believers and an increasing ability to take over leadership of the churches and programs in each of the villages. Also, please continue to pray for Pano. He is the young man from Vlocisht who has expressed a desire to serve the Lord by serving in his village and the churches of Vashtemi and Poceste. He has been appointed to a three-month internship by the church elders. Please pray for him and the elders as they go through the process of deciding the next step for him. Pray for wisdom and direction for all involved.”
