Philippines – Ethnos 360

The Smiths fill a variety of ministry roles—first and foremost, overseeing the security and potential movement of missionaries in the event of political or religious threats. They are also involved in the orientation and hospitality for new missionaries, and serve as representatives for Ethnos 360 (previously New Tribes Mission) to Faith Academy, the local international school for missionary children.

Praise the Lord for a great 2017!  It was a busy year but we praise the Lord for wisdom in dealing with each area of concern.  Personnel needs are always a request for prayer but we praise the Lord for key positions that were filled this year by capable and willing short-term workers.

Please pray…

  • We spent the first week of 2018 serving 60 plus national co-workers at the missionary training school. Pray that our time sharpening one another will better prepare us all for the ministry the Lord has for us.
  • In months ahead, we will be spending time with various church planting teams, and preparing for our next Summer Youth Missions camp as well as for our Annual Field Conference later this year.  Please keep all of this in prayer as it always involves much preparation and planning.
