Dr. Jay is involved in mentoring, training, and mobilizing church planting movement leaders at large throughout East Asia by setting strategies for new regions for BBCM church plants. He trains the church planters of “Indigenous reproductive church plants” in India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, writing course curriculum for new courses in Academy of Church Planting Leadership, and missiological articles for international journals. Along with his commitments with BBCM, Dr. Jay also leads an accrediting agency, the Indian Institute of Inter-Cultural Studies, under which 60+ training institutions function.

- Prema’s health: she has completed 3 rounds of her first course of chemotherapy and is on antibiotics for an infection. Their son Samuel will take her to Vellore where she will see a consultant regarding a possible bone marrow test.
- Dr. Jay’s health: he has been suffering with pancreatitis. His last CT showed a layer/cyst but the surgeon does not want to do surgery at this time as the cyst is likely to disappear on its own. Gall bladder surgery is also a possibility in about a month. He is very weak but has resumed some administrative and teaching duties on a part-time basis.
- for the new seekers and the church planters in Sri Lanka, who have faced threats and violence. The situation has taken a positive turn as some seekers came back again into contact with leaders.
